Lovell’s Blade was formed in 2016 when several members split from long-running metal band, Picture.

Those members included legendary heavy metal vocalist Pete Lovell, Mike Ferguson (guitar) and Andre Wullems (guitar), who then teamed up with Patrick Velis (bass) and Noel van Eersel (drums) to form their new act: Lovell's Blade.

Debut album 'Stone Cold Steel' was recorded and mixed by Serge Naber-man at the prestigious Claim To Fame Studios and was released in march 2017 by Divebomb Records in North America, Into The Lime Light Records in Europe/Asia and Classic Metal in South America.

Second album, titled 'The Nightmare Begins', was released in 2019.

Lovell’s Blade has been performing continuously since day one and has shared the stage with many bands such as Thunder and Armoured Saint. With musicians from bands like Picture, God Dethroned, Nembrionic, Emergency, Detonation and many more, they guarantee to rock wherever they are.
